We have found that the majority of our visitors are referred here.  Whatever the case may be, we’re glad you are here.  As you will find going through our site, we are a special type of Chiropractic clinic.

There are many misconceptions in the public concerning chiropractic. Many are confused due to unusual practices of some chiropractors.

Our single purpose at Family Chiropractic Clinic is to remove the interference to the proper function of your nerve system.  This interference comes from vertebral subluxation. The vertebra of the spine often become misaligned, which causes the openings between them to be altered in shape and size. This misalignment produces a lack of protection to the nerves which travel through these small openings. Without proper protection, the nerves cannot transmit mental impulses (messages between your brain and body) properly. These nerves directly and indirectly control every function in your body.   It is obvious to see the serious nature of the misalignments which are called vertebral subluxations.  For further discussion of chiropractic and the causes and damaging effects of subluxation, more detailed information can be found by clicking the “How Can Specific Chiropractic Help Me?” link above.

This is not a cure-all, in fact we do not take credit in resolution of any condition.  That is not the purpose of Chiropractic.  Our care removes the obstruction to a normal healing process.  We don’t put drugs in your system, no surgery, nothing invasive at all.  We remove an obstruction to the normal and healthy control of function in your body.  Your own body does the healing and deserves the credit.

Chiropractic is NOT physical therapy, massage therapy, electrical contraptions, enema therapy or any other such treatment!  Don’t laugh, it’s all out there.  We feel there are ordinary practitioners of medicine and physical therapy and they are the proper source for those types of symptom-only treatment.

    If I could give them more stars I would! I have been going here for a few years now and Dr. Rob has changed my life. I started going when I had my rib popped out of place. I go now twice a month for maintenance but I went more when I was pregnant with my son-Now I take him with me(he’s 10weeks old for reference).
